Our team is dedicated to nurturing, inspiring, and expanding the Jin Shin Jyutsu community across Aotearoa. We are deeply committed to supporting current practitioners and guiding a new generation into this powerful healing art. Now more than ever, we believe it is essential to help people discover Jin Shin Jyutsu—not only as a path to personal healing but also as a way to support others.
We are honoured to collaborate closely with our community here in New Zealand, Jin Shin Jyutsu Spirit, Mind and Body and continuing the incredible work Julie Wells has cultivated and sustained over the years. With gratitude and vision, we look forward to growing Jin Shin Jyutsu’s presence and impact for years to come.

Office manager
Amelia Wood
Amelia Wood has over 20 years experience in the Skin and Beauty industry.
After a decade of servicing her client base in Auckland, she is continuing to further her skill set to include overall well-being across a range of intersecting disciplines.
She has discovered a growing interest in Jin Shin Jyutsu, an ancient Japanese healing art that uses gentle touch to harmonize the body's energy.
Fascinated by how it helps restore balance in the mind, body and spirit, Amelia began practicing these techniques on herself and believes it has an important role to play in a holistic approach to health and vitality.
Her emerging passion for this practice reflects her natural empathy to help people feel their best-inside and out.

office manager
Amy Fitzjames
Amy Fitzjames is a mother of two young children whose journey with Jin Shin Jyutsu began during a difficult period in her life. While running her own successful cake business in a high-pressure environment, she found herself struggling with her mental health. It was then that she discovered the deeply calming and restorative effects of Jin Shin Jyutsu. But it was one transformative fertility-focused treatment—after nine months of trying to conceive—that truly showed her the power of the practice: she became pregnant. Amy is now honoured and thrilled to be part of the growing Jin Shin Jyutsu community in New Zealand, dedicated to helping others find healing, balance, and renewed vitality in their own lives.

Lisette Douglas
I'm a wellbeing advocate and lifelong learner, deeply curious about the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Jin Shin Jyutsu found me—and from the moment I was introduced, I was captivated by its simplicity and power. What began as a sense of wonder quickly grew into deep respect for the profound intelligence of the energy flows. Whether with family, friends, pets, or even during meetings, I find joy in sharing and experiencing the subtle magic of JSJ.
